Travelling to Buenos Aires

Flying to Buenos Aires

The main airport in Buenos Aires is Ministro Pistarini International,  more commonly referred to as Ezeiza (EZE).  It is located 45 minutes from Capital Federal (the federal district).
The best way to get from the airport to downtown Buenos Aires is by  taxis (make sure you book the taxi inside the airport). There are many private car services, that you can book from inside the airport) or you can take a private bus operated by Manuel Tienda Leon which you can also book from inside the airport.

From the US

There are two airlines that make non-stop flights from NYC to Buenos Aires.  They take about 11 hours and are overnight.  There is only a 1 hour time difference from the east coast, so it's  a very convenient flight to take.

American Airlines
Aerolineas Argentina

Other companies that fly to Buenos Aires from the US:

            Continental (via Houston)
            Delta (via Atlanta)
            LAN (via Santiago, Chile)
TAM (via Rio De Janerio or San Pablo, Brazil)

Typically, LAN and TAM will be your cheapest options, provided you're willing to change planes in Brazil or Chile.

Getting There from Europe

Almost every major company flies non-stop to Buenos Aires

From Madrid: Iberia and Aerolineas Argentinas.
            From Rome: Alitalia
            From Franfurt: Lufhansa

Getting There from Australia

Most flights from Australia require a transfer, though we've heard rumor that Qantas offers a non-stop flight weekly from Syndey.
