If this is your one trip to Argentina, you might want to use this as an opportunity to see more of the country. Here's our favorite destinations within Argentina. Go North- Iguazu Falls - On the border of Argentina and Brazil, you'll find these beautiful waterfalls. The falls themselves are on the argentinian side, though like US and Canada at Niagra, the Brazilians got the panoramic view.
- Salta - One of the best preserved colonial cities in Argentina. Starting point for the Train to the Clouds.
Go West- Mendoza - Is wine your thing? Then don't miss out on visiting the wine region of Argentina, where you can try the Malbec. Also a great base camp for those who want to experience the great outdoors.
Go South- El Calafate - Our favorite trip in Argentina. El Calafate is a modern frontier city in central Patagonia, and jumping off point for Los Glaciares National Park. Why not go walking on the amazing Perito Moreno glacier?
- Ushuaia - The southern most city in Argentina; sometimes called the southern most city in the world. A place to visit great base camp while you visit the natural beauty of Tiera del Fuego and Antarctica (though it's a bit late in the season for Antarctica, sorry.)
